Transfer Primer (Transition Primer)

Product Description:
It is acrylic emulsion based, water based interior surface transfer primer used to paint specifically the wall surfaces painted with solvent based paints, again with water based paints.

Product features:
It can safely be used on water based older-painted wall surfaces. Thanks to its opaque formula, it reduces consumption of the topcoat by its high covering power on the older-painted surfaces, and facilitates the color transitions. It adheres perfectly on the surface and increases the resistance of the topcoat paint.

Surface Preparation:
All the surfaces where application is carried out should be free of moisture, dirt, dust and oil. Primer can be applied directly on the older painted surfaces painted with water and solvent based paints.

Application Method:
The primer thinned with 10-15% water is applied by a roller or brush as a single or double layer. A waiting period of 8 hours is required if 2 layers are to be applied. Topcoat paint application should be carried out at least 10 hours after the primer application. The ambient temperature should be between +5 °C to +30° C during the application. Complete drying time is 24 hours..

Coverage Area:
Based on the absorption capacity of the surface, 1 lt of paint can prime an area of 10 -13m2 in a single layer.

Storing Conditions :
Protect from direct sunlight, rain, snow, excessive heat, moisture and frost. Can be stored for 1 year in its original unopened container provided that the storing conditions are observed.

Storage Temperature :
Should be stored between +5 °C to +30° C .

23 ±2 °C % 50 ± 5 real humidity
