Insulation Primer (Iso Primer)

Product Description:
It is acrylic copolymer binder based, water based, silicone insulation material .

Product features:
It is used as the insulation material for the interior and exterior surfaces and as paint primer for the emulsion paints and satin gypsum.

It has extra insulation power due to the water repellent feature of the silicone it contains. The wall is moisture-proof in the exterior surfaces on which Ersan insulation primer is applied and since the water absorption of the plaster is reduced, it shall require less paint. Also, Ersan insulation primer is a very strong insulation material which prevents water leakage in the cracks on the terraces, in gaps between the window frames and walls which emerge by time, in bathrooms and toilets; and which prevents humidity in the floorings of the structures that are laid on the ground and the surrounding walls of the basement floors

Ersan insulation primer which can also be used as satin gypsum primer reduces the paint absorption on the smooth surfaces smoothened by satin gypsum.

Application Method:
It can be applied both on the newly painted and the old painted surfaces as a paint primer. When applied on the old painted surfaces, it provides the adherence of the new paint to be applied on the previously painted surface. As satin gypsum primer, it is used as paint primer on the surfaces such as raw walls, satin gypsum, plasterboard which shall be painted for the first time and on the surfaces with absorbent and dust emission character. If applied as a topcoat on the surfaces, it may cause capillary cracks on the surface in time.

Thinning/Mixing Ratio:
When used as paint primer; 1 volume of Ersan insulation primer is mixed with 4 volumes of water. When used as an insulation material; 1 volume of Ersan insulation primer is mixed with one volume of water for the first coat and 1 volume of Ersan insulation primer is mixed with two volumes of water for the second and the third coats. This should be applied as four folds in uneven surfaces with deep cracks. When used as satin gypsum primer, 1 volume of Ersan insulation primer should be mixed with seven volumes of water.

Don't use without thinning!

Coverage Area:
1 lt product, when thinned with 5 folds of water, can be applied on an area around 60-100m2 as based on the water absorption capacity of the surface.

Drying ( 20 ° C)::
1 hour.

DStoring Conditions:
Protect from direct sunlight, rain, snow, excessive heat, moisture and frost. Can be stored for 1 year as of the production date, in its original unopened container provided that the storing conditions are observed. Keep the containers tightly closed when not used.

Storage Temperature :
Should be stored between +5 °C to +30° C .

Relative Humidity :
23 ±2 °C % 50 ± 5 real humidity.
