Exposed Concrete Primer

Adherence reinforcing primer before gypsum plaster and jamb applications.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
It is a special resin reinforced interior surface primer used in order to increase the surface adherence before the gypsum and cement based mortar applications to be performed on exposed concrete.

AREAS OF USE:
It is used as a primer in order to increase the adherence and operation time on the exposed concrete surfaces, walls and ceilings and jambs, cement and gypsum based under-plaster.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
The surface should be cleaned off dust, oil, grease, paraffin, loose and unstable particles and should be dry and clean. It should not be applied on humid or wet surfaces.

APPLICATION:
Water is added up to the desired consistency, mixed with a low speed mixer and applied as a single coat on the surface with a lambskin paint roller. During the application, exposed concrete primer should be mixed at regular intervals. It is recommended to wait for 24 hours for the complete drying of the surface for the plaster and gypsum application.

THINNING RATIO:
Thin by 3-5 lt water as based on the surface roughness desired..

CONSUMPTION:
~ 0.175-0.250 kg/m2 ( may vary as based on the surface structure.)

STORING:
It can be stored about 12 months in the unopened container in a cool and dry place, by protecting from frost and direct sunlight.

Storage Temperature:
Should be stored between +5 °C to +30° C .

Relative Humidity:
23 ±2 °C % 50 ± 5 real humidity.
