Product Description:

Area of Use:
The absorptive surfaces such as tiles/mosaics/concrete/screed as well as surfaces such as wooden parquets, floor covering woods, steps, wall boards, armchairs, tables, furniture.

Surface Preparation Before Application and Application:
In order to have good results on old parquets which are to be re-varnished, the previous varnish layer should be removed by scraper. The dirt, dust and oil on the surface should be cleaned by a cloth dampened with cellulosic thinner before the application. The surface should be saturated by Ersan Wood protector and should be primed with Ersan Cellulosic Filler varnish; if there are gaps between the parquets, these should be filled with chip+varnish or filler varnish mixture and sanded following the drying (after 24 hours) and the surface should be smooth. The surface should be wiped with a cloth dampened with cellulosic thinner and should be cleaned completely from dust and moisture. As based on the desired viscosity Ersan Glaze is applied by an appropriate brush, roller or pistol after thinning with 10% Synthetic Thinner, as 2-3 coats after waiting 6-12 hours between the coats. Since it is solvent based, use it only at locations which are well ventilated. Tools are cleaned by solvent right after the application. It is recommended not to apply glaze at mediums with high humidity and with temperature below 10 °C.
