Epoxy Floor Covering

DESCRIPTION:
It is solvent-free, epoxy resin based, polyamine, hardener and quartz mixture, self spreading floor covering.

PLACES OF USE:
It is successfully applied in factories and industrial plants, in locations which require floors in compliance with health conditions, such as drug, food, surgery rooms, ,n wastewater and filtration facilities, hangars, chemical processing plants, warehouses, electricity power plants, in places that are exposed to mechanical load such as airports, in places that require perfect resistance against chemical effects and on new floors where seamless surface is required or for the repair of the old floors.

APPLICATION METHOD:
Surface Preparation and Preparation Coat : All the dirt, oil, and bubbling materials on the surface should be cleaned and the surface should be completely dry. Surface impurities should be corrected with Epoxy Putty or cement based product. Screed layer of the new concrete is removed by washing 10% hydrochloric acid. The surface should be washed with plenty of water and rinsed afterwards and should be dried so that the concrete humidity ratio is 6%. The application surface should be primed with Ersan epoxy solvent free transparent floor primer so that it is as 0.200 kg per m2. Silica sand sprinkled on the primer while it is wet increases the adherence of the surface. The following day, the excess silica sand on the surface should be removed by vacuum. Maximum 2 days after this procedure, solvent free floor covering application should be started. Main Coat: The hardener should be added into the main component and mixed until it is homogeneous. Silica sand, in the size of a granule prepared for this mixture is also added and the homogeneous distribution of three component is provided by a drill if required. The mixture obtained is poured onto the floor and spread by a steel trowel so that a layer of around 3 mm is formed. In order to avoid the impurities on the surface which might be caused by the foam in the system, it is teaseled by nail nylon roller and the foam is removed. The procedure is continued at regular intervals until all the air bubbles are removed.

The Following Coats: The surface may be left as it is or topcoats in compliance with the specifications can be applied as well.
