Epoxy Topcoat Paint
Description:
It is epoxy resin based, reaction drying, glossy topcoat paint with solvent.
Places of Use:
It is used in factories and industrial plants, on all types of wood, metal, concrete, mineral surfaces, on bridges, metal surfaces specifically against weak acid, sea water, natural, mineral oil and corrosion where chemical resistance is desired. It is resistant against physical and chemical effects.
Application Method:
All the dirt, oil, and bubbling materials on the surface should be cleaned and the surface should be completely dry. Ambient and surface temperature during application should be between +5 °C to +30 °C and the surface humidity should be max 4. In order to achieve the best results, epoxy putty and epoxy primer applied surfaces are recommended. Component A, the main component and Component B, the hardener, is mixed at the ration of 4/1 in weight. As based on the surface absorption, it is applied by a brush or roller as two coats without thinning, or by thinning with Ersan Epoxy Thinner at the ratio of 15-20%. It is recommended to wait at least 24 hours between the coats and should be applied as two coats

CONSUMPTION:
As based on the surface, 115 –120 gr / m 2 or 100 – 105 ml / m 2 about 30-50 micron Dry film thickness in single coat.
FLASH POINT:
30 ºC (21ºC – 50ºC, contains fluids which are inflammable vapor fluids and which do not mix with water at any ratio.)
HEAT RESISTANCE (DRY):
140 ºC
STORING CONDITIONS:
Protect from direct sunlight between +5º C to +30ºC. The period of use is 1 year as of production date in its original unopened container under appropriate storing conditions.
